Job Description
The Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Senior Officer will support UNOPS by implementing the SHF M&E framework, harmonising indicators and improving data collection tools. They will analyse monitoring data, produce reports and ensure integration of gender, equity and climate considerations. The role contributes to evidence‑based decision making for programme performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND (or higher) in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences or related field
- • Up to two years of experience in M&E, research or program evaluation
- • Strong analytical and reporting skills
- • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi‑stakeholder environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Support implementation of the SHF monitoring and evaluation framework aligned with national and global priorities
- • Assist in harmonising indicators with sector targets and development plans
- • Review and improve M&E tools, guidelines and methodologies across programmes
- • Provide technical input to strengthen results‑based M&E systems, including GESI and climate impact integration
- • Collect, analyse and process monitoring data for internal and external reporting
- • Contribute to the preparation of evaluation reports and learning products
