Job Description
The MSF EA Legal Registration Project Manager will coordinate the legal registration of MSF’s East Africa entity in Rwanda, overseeing documentation, stakeholder liaison and compliance. The role requires managing timelines, drafting legal instruments and advising senior management on regulatory matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Law, International Relations or related discipline
- • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management and legal/regulatory work
- • Proven ability to draft and review legal documents, statutes and MoUs
- • Strong coordination and negotiation skills with government and legal partners
- • Fluency in English
- French, Kinyarwanda or Swahili an asset
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review and update the registration framework and required documentation for Rwanda
- • Coordinate with local lawyers and MSF teams to collect necessary legal documents
- • Supervise the registration process to achieve timely primary registration
- • Draft memoranda of understanding, action plans and related legal documents
- • Advise MSF management and Board on statutory, financial and operational requirements
- • Monitor progress, manage risks and report on project status
