Job Description
The role oversees the allocation and management of constituency development funds, ensuring projects are evaluated, approved, and disbursed in line with the NG‑CDF Act. Responsibilities include reviewing project proposals, coordinating inter‑constituency initiatives, and maintaining transparent financial records. The position requires a Kenyan citizen with a relevant professional qualification and strong public‑sector experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenyan citizenship
- • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, community development, public affairs, project management, education, security, or law
- • Knowledge of the NG‑CDF Act and public‑sector financial management
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Allocate annual constituency development funds in accordance with the NG‑CDF Act
- • Review and approve project proposals submitted by constituencies
- • Ensure timely and efficient disbursement of funds to approved projects
- • Manage and monitor fund performance and financial reporting
- • Coordinate implementation of inter‑constituency projects and initiatives
- • Develop regulations and guidelines to improve fund administration
- • Receive and address complaints related to fund implementation
- • Promote best practices and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- • Administer the fund’s assets and maintain accurate records
