Job Description
The Network Administrator designs, configures, and maintains the hospital’s LAN and WAN infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security. Responsibilities include planning network architecture, managing device configurations, backing up systems, and providing technical support to end‑users. The role also monitors network health, implements security policies, and coordinates with service providers to sustain reliable connectivity for clinical and administrative operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND).

- • Plan, recommend, and assist in the design of local or remote computer systems and network architecture.
- • Oversee day‑to‑day operation of LAN‑to‑LAN and WAN networks, evaluating performance and recommending improvements.
- • Configure, manage, and back up network devices, maintaining consistent baseline configurations.
- • Manage firewalls, network access controls, logs, and implement security policies.
- • Provide technical assistance and support to users, selecting and installing routers, switches, hubs, and related equipment.
- • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable connectivity.
