Job Description
The Network & Security Engineer will design, implement, and continuously improve security controls across Zamara’s technology environment. Responsibilities include establishing baseline security standards, configuring secure servers, networks and cloud services, and managing identity and access controls. The role ensures compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS while strengthening authentication mechanisms. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least five years of experience in cybersecurity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a related field
- • Minimum five years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations
- • Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset

- • Define and enforce baseline security standards for infrastructure, applications and endpoints
- • Implement controls aligned with ISO 27001, NIST and CIS benchmarks
- • Secure configurations for servers, networks, cloud environments and end‑user devices
- • Enforce least‑privilege access and manage identity and access controls
- • Strengthen authentication mechanisms such as MFA and conditional access
- • Monitor threats and manage security incident detection
