Job Description
The Lead will evaluate and develop a frozen avocado business, integrating it with existing horticultural operations and driving export sales. Responsibilities include market assessment, feasibility analysis, business planning, and leading implementation teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Food Science or related field
- Postgraduate Diploma preferred
- • Minimum 8–10 years experience in business development, preferably within horticulture or export‑oriented agribusiness
- • Demonstrated ability to conduct market assessments, feasibility studies and financial modelling
- • Strong leadership and project‑management skills
- • Excellent communication and reporting abilities

Responsibilities
- • Assess the frozen avocado opportunity against existing sourcing, processing, cold‑chain and export capabilities
- • Validate market demand, product formats, pricing, logistics and regulatory requirements
- • Prepare investment‑grade feasibility studies including financial, operational and risk analyses
- • Integrate the opportunity into existing field‑to‑factory processes and develop implementation plans
- • Lead cross‑functional teams to execute the business plan and achieve commercial targets
- • Report progress to senior management and provide strategic recommendations
