Job Description
The NOC Engineer provides Tier‑3 support, monitors network performance, and leads incident resolution for client environments. Responsibilities include managing monitoring tools, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline
- • Professional certification in network monitoring or IT operations
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in NOC or Tier‑3 support roles
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Monitor infrastructure using SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix and proprietary tools
- • Analyze performance trends, bandwidth, latency, packet loss and key KPIs
- • Maintain monitoring thresholds, alert policies and SLA metrics
- • Respond to alerts and outages within defined SLA timeframes
- • Perform triage, diagnosis and manage the incident lifecycle
- • Conduct root‑cause analysis and document lessons learned
- • Track and report on service reliability and improvement initiatives
