Job Description
The Clinical Quality and Compliance Nurse will monitor documentation, regulatory compliance and clinical quality for overseas community care providers. Responsibilities include reviewing care notes, maintaining incident registers, drafting regulatory notifications and conducting internal audits. The role supports the development of procedures, checklists and training materials while working night shifts as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) OR Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery (Clinical Officer)
- • Current professional registration and valid practising licence
- • 0–4 years of relevant experience
- recent graduates are welcome
- • Experience in hospital accreditation, quality improvement, clinical audit, infection prevention, health‑records management, monitoring and evaluation or research assistance is advantageous
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Identify patterns, gaps and risks in care records and ensure procedures are followed
- • Review daily care and progress notes for compliance
- • Verify care plans against documented practice, including mealtime, epilepsy, behavior support and medication plans
- • Maintain incident and complaint registers
- • Draft regulatory notifications for approval
- • Prepare and maintain audit evidence for internal and external reviews
- • Conduct internal audits and highlight compliance gaps
- • Handle overnight escalation calls, document facts and route issues to the clinical team
- • Develop clinical procedures, red‑flag checklists and training materials
