Job Description
The Operating Theatre Nurse provides peri‑operative nursing care, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the theatre, assisting the surgical team, monitoring patients, and delivering post‑operative education. The role requires strong clinical skills, relevant certifications, and at least two years of hospital experience. Effective communication and teamwork are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BSc in Nursing or KRN/KRCHN
- Higher National Diploma in Peri‑Operative Nursing (advantageous)
- • Valid NCK nursing license
- • BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications recommended
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy hospital setting
