Job Description
You will monitor clinical quality, documentation and regulatory compliance for overseas community care and disability providers. The core responsibility is to identify patterns, gaps and risks in care records, ensure procedures are followed and escalate issues appropriately. The role requires a qualified health professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate audit evidence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery (Clinical Officer) with current professional registration and valid practising licence
- • 0–4 years of relevant experience
- recent graduates are welcome
- • Experience in hospital accreditation, quality improvement, clinical audit, infection prevention, health records or medical coding, health information systems, monitoring and evaluation, or research assistance is advantageous
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review daily care and progress notes to identify concerning patterns
- • Verify care plans against documented practice, including mealtime, epilepsy, behavior support and medication charts
- • Maintain incident and complaint registers and draft regulatory notifications
- • Prepare and maintain audit evidence and conduct internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- • Handle overnight escalation calls, document facts accurately and forward to the clinical team
- • Develop clinical procedures, red‑flag checklists and training materials
