Job Description
The O2C Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for processing incoming payments, reconciling customer balances and supporting month‑end close activities for the order‑to‑cash portfolio. The role ensures accurate accounting records and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (BA/BSc/HND) and relevant professional certification
- • Minimum 2 years experience in accounts receivable or order‑to‑cash functions
- • Strong command of English (minimum B2 level)
- • Ability to work under pressure, especially during month‑end closing periods
- • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- • Effective collaboration and communication with internal finance teams
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Allocate incoming payments to open invoices in the accounting system
- • Investigate and resolve customer balance discrepancies in collaboration with collections
- • Monitor and clear open or unidentified payments, maintaining detailed tracking notes
- • Calculate and post allowance provisions for doubtful debts
- • Support month‑end closing activities, including posting work‑in‑progress and unbilled orders
- • Ensure compliance with SLA/KPI requirements for accounts receivable processing
