Job Description
The Oncology Nurse will deliver specialized nursing care to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine, ensuring safe treatment administration and patient education.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Registered Nurse with a nursing degree
- • Oncology nursing certification or relevant experience preferred
- • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology
- • Valid Kenyan nursing licence
- • Strong communication, empathy and patient‑focused skills

Responsibilities
- • Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine
- • Administer medications and monitor patient responses and side effects
- • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects and self‑care
- • Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary oncology team
- • Document patient assessments, treatments and outcomes accurately
- • Ensure compliance with safety, infection‑control and medication‑administration protocols
