Job Description
The Ophthalmic Assistant Training Programme offers a structured, hands‑on learning experience for individuals interested in supporting safe and compassionate eye care. Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum KCSE qualification with a mean grade of D+ (or equivalent)
- • Minimum grade C in English or Kiswahili and C‑ in Biology or Biological Sciences
- • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Kiswahili
- • Basic numeracy and computer literacy
- • At least 18 years of age at the start of the programme

Responsibilities
- • Attend classroom instruction and supervised practical sessions in ophthalmic care
- • Support clinical staff during patient examinations and procedures
- • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
