Job Description
The Ophthalmic Nurse and Counsellor provides comprehensive nursing care to eye patients and offers professional counseling on eye health. Working closely with ophthalmologists, the role ensures high‑quality clinical support and patient education throughout the treatment process.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Registered Nurse qualification (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- • Minimum two years experience in ophthalmic or eye‑care nursing
- • Strong interpersonal and counseling abilities
- • Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment
- • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities
- • Deliver nursing care for pre‑ and post‑operative ophthalmic patients
- • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures
- • Provide counseling on eye health, medication usage and post‑treatment care
