Job Description
The Partner Development Manager will accelerate the adoption of AI and cloud solutions among Microsoft partners by guiding them through readiness assessments, solution design, and go‑to‑market strategies. Responsibilities include building technical capacity, co‑creating business plans, and influencing C‑level leaders to invest in AI services. The role requires strong partnership management, deep knowledge of Azure AI, and the ability to translate technical concepts into profitable offerings. Travel across Kenya and East Africa is expected to engage with partners on site.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent.
- • Demonstrated experience in partner development, sales strategy, or business development.
- • Strong understanding of AI, cloud services, and Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- • Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
- • Ability to travel across Kenya and East Africa as required.

Responsibilities
- • Lead AI‑first transformation for partners, guiding them through readiness assessments and solution packaging.
- • Design and promote repeatable, profitable AI and cloud services, including Copilot, agents, and data platforms.
- • Conduct AI adoption workshops and help partners build internal AI capabilities (Customer Zero).
- • Build partners' technical and delivery capacity through certifications, specializations, and skilling programs.
- • Define joint sales and business plans with clear revenue, consumption, pipeline, and acquisition targets.
- • Engage partner C‑level executives as a trusted advisor and influence investment in Microsoft AI and cloud.
- • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across the region.
