Job Description
The Partnerships Engagement Associate supports Amref Health Africa in building and managing strategic collaborations with donors, NGOs and private‑sector partners. The role identifies partnership opportunities, prepares proposals and maintains relationships to advance health programmes across Kenya. Strong communication and project‑management skills are essential for coordinating joint initiatives and reporting outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Communications or related field
- • 1–2 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising or stakeholder engagement
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams

- • Identify and assess potential partnership opportunities aligned with Amref’s health programmes
- • Develop partnership proposals, negotiate terms and secure agreements
- • Manage ongoing relationships with donors, NGOs and private‑sector partners
- • Coordinate joint project activities, monitor deliverables and report on impact
- • Represent Amref at stakeholder meetings and networking events
