Job Description
The Pharmaceutical Technologist prepares and dispenses medications, ensures regulatory compliance and maintains pharmacy inventory. The role requires a pharmacy diploma, relevant experience and registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. The technologist also supports quality assurance and provides customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Pharmacy
- • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- • Valid registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board

- • Prepare and dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines accurately
- • Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations
- • Maintain inventory levels, manage stock rotation and handle expired products
- • Perform quality checks and support pharmacy audits
- • Provide counseling and assistance to customers on medication use
