Job Description
The Physiotherapist assesses patients, designs and implements treatment plans, provides education, and supervises assistants to deliver high‑quality rehabilitation services while maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to hospital policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Physiotherapy or related field
- • Registration with the relevant professional board (if required)
- • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Conduct initial evaluation and assessment of referred patients
- • Identify treatment goals and apply appropriate therapy techniques
- • Provide patient and family education on condition and exercises
- • Re‑evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed
- • Assess need for adaptive devices and recommend appropriate support
- • Maintain daily treatment notes, progress evaluations, and discharge summaries
- • Assign and supervise physiotherapy assistants or interns with clear treatment plans
- • Ensure infection control by following hygiene protocols
- • Participate in continuing education and stay current with physiotherapy best practices
- • Follow hospital policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines
- • Perform clinical and service audits to improve service quality
