The Planning, Assignments & Photography Editor for Africa leads the editorial planning process, assigns stories and coordinates photography coverage across the region. This role ensures high‑quality visual content aligns with Thomson Reuters’ news standards and audience needs. The editor collaborates with reporters, photographers and product teams to deliver timely, accurate multimedia packages.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies or related field
- • Minimum 5 years of editorial experience, including photography coordination
- • Proven leadership and team‑management skills
- • Strong news judgment and excellent written and verbal communication
