Job Description
The Plant Technician will operate, monitor and maintain plant equipment, performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous and efficient production. The role also includes troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting equipment installation and commissioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Relevant technical qualification such as a Diploma, BA/BSc or Professional Certificate in Engineering or a related field
- • 3–5 years experience in plant or industrial maintenance
- • Knowledge of PLC‑controlled equipment, sensors, actuators, VFDs and control panels
- • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities

Responsibilities
- • Operate, monitor and maintain plant machinery and equipment according to procedures
- • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- • Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities
- • Diagnose and repair equipment faults, including leaks, vibrations and overheating
- • Assist with installation, commissioning, modification and de‑commissioning of plant equipment
- • Maintain accurate records of downtime, maintenance actions and repairs
- • Support fast‑paced production environment and meet deadlines
- • Collaborate with team members to ensure equipment reliability
