Job Description
The Post‑School Success Senior Associate leads the delivery of the PSS programme across assigned Nova Pioneer campuses, guiding students through career exploration, subject selection and university preparation. The role involves planning and implementing programme goals, providing individualized counselling and collaborating with school leaders. A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of college‑counselling experience are required, along with strong communication and mentorship skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent.
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in college counselling, secondary‑school guidance or related fields.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to mentor students and support career and academic decision‑making.
- • Experience designing and delivering educational programmes.
- • Proficiency in using digital tools for student tracking and reporting.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver the Post‑School Success programme and achieve student outcome targets across assigned campuses.
- • Plan, implement and monitor PSS goals aligned with Nova Pioneer priorities.
- • Provide individual career guidance, academic pathway advice and university readiness support to students and families.
- • Conduct PSS lessons, workshops and information sessions.
- • Collaborate with school leaders, deans and teachers to integrate PSS activities into the academic calendar.
- • Identify students needing additional support and implement targeted interventions.
- • Track student progress and report on programme impact.
