Job Description
The college principal provides strategic leadership and oversees both academic and administrative functions. Key duties involve ensuring quality delivery of TVET programs, managing staff performance, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Degree in Education, TVET, or a related field
- • Valid TVET teaching or training certification or relevant licence
- • Proven experience in teaching and college or training institution management
- • Strong leadership, administration, and student management skills

Responsibilities
- • Oversee delivery of academic and TVET training programmes
- • Monitor teaching standards, curriculum implementation, and student performance
- • Coordinate academic planning, examinations, assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
- • Manage day‑to‑day administrative operations of the college
- • Develop and implement institutional policies, procedures, and operational plans
- • Ensure proper management of college records, resources, facilities, and administrative systems
- • Lead, supervise, and evaluate teaching and non‑teaching staff
- • Coordinate staff schedules, workload allocation, meetings, and professional development
- • Promote a collaborative and accountable working environment
- • Oversee student discipline, welfare, attendance, and overall experience
- • Develop and enforce student policies, rules, and codes of conduct
- • Address student concerns and disciplinary matters fairly and professionally
- • Ensure compliance with TVET, education, and regulatory requirements
- • Maintain institutional licences, certifications, records, and documentation
- • Monitor quality standards and implement corrective measures where necessary
- • Provide strategic leadership to achieve academic and operational objectives
- • Represent the institution with parents, students, regulators, partners, and stakeholders
- • Identify opportunities for institutional growth, partnerships, student recruitment, and service improvement
