Job Description
The Procurement Officer is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to source goods and services efficiently for the medical centre. They provide guidance on specifications, manage supplier selection, and oversee tender processes to ensure cost‑effective purchasing. A bachelor’s degree and at least four years of procurement experience are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) with a professional procurement certificate.
- • Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or store‑keeping.
- • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract administration.
- • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and provide procurement guidance.

- • Provide leadership and guidance to user departments in developing procurement specifications.
- • Ensure efficient, cost‑effective sourcing and timely delivery of materials, services, and equipment.
- • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for spend management, supplier development, and category buying.
- • Lead supplier pre‑qualification, selection, quotation, and tender processes.
- • Manage contracts, vendor‑managed inventory, and supplier performance rating systems.
