Job Description
The Product Development & Commercialization Lead – Avocado will spearhead the creation of a processed frozen avocado line, leveraging existing horticultural assets to build a commercially viable export product. Responsibilities include market assessment, feasibility studies, product format design, and overseeing implementation across the value chain. The role requires strong leadership, technical insight, and extensive experience in agro‑product development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Business, or related field
- • Postgraduate Diploma (preferred) in a relevant discipline
- • 8–10 years of experience in product development, agribusiness, or commercialization
- • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

- • Assess market demand, pricing, and product formats for frozen avocado
- • Validate technical and operational feasibility of processing and cold‑chain logistics
- • Prepare investment‑grade feasibility studies covering costs, margins, and risks

- • Lead cross‑functional teams to execute product development and commercialization plans
- • Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance for export markets
