Job Description
The Production Data Clerk captures and records manufacturing output, maintains accurate production schedules, and validates data against shop‑floor reports. They ensure timely entry of transactions in Sage ERP, track raw material consumption, and reconcile discrepancies. The role supports efficient production planning and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent qualification
- • Proficiency with Sage ERP and data‑entry accuracy
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with production data
- • Good organizational and time‑management skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Accurately capture daily production outputs at each work centre
- • Record manufacturing transactions in Sage ERP
- • Track and update raw material consumption against production orders
- • Monitor work‑in‑process stock movements between centres
- • Prepare and release production schedules, balancing priorities and capacity
- • Adjust schedules for machine breakdowns, material shortages, or urgent orders
- • Coordinate with supervisors to ensure schedule adherence and highlight risks
- • Compare planned versus actual output and identify performance gaps
- • Cross‑check production logs with shop‑floor reports to eliminate discrepancies
- • Reconcile raw material consumption with finished product outputs
