Job Description
The Production Planner is responsible for creating detailed production schedules, managing material requirements, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while supporting efficient use of factory resources. The role coordinates closely with procurement, sales and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement of production processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management or Business Administration
- • Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, CIPS, Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing (preferred)
- • Three to five years of experience as a Production Planner in FMCG or high‑volume manufacturing
- • Strong SAP Business One or ERP planning experience, including MRP and inventory management
- • Advanced Excel and Power BI reporting skills
- • Analytical thinking, attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities

Responsibilities
- • Develop weekly and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts, sales orders and capacity constraints
- • Create and maintain detailed production schedules for each product line
- • Balance production capacity with customer demand and adjust plans as needed
- • Run material requirements planning (MRP) in SAP Business One and ensure material availability
- • Coordinate with procurement to align purchase orders with production needs
- • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, WIP and finished goods
- • Identify and mitigate bottlenecks, excess inventory and stock‑out risks
- • Participate in S&OP meetings and translate forecast changes into production requirements
- • Track daily production performance, investigate deviations and recommend corrective actions
- • Generate production reports and ensure accurate order closure in SAP
