Job Description
The Production Supervisor ensures cGMP compliance on the shop floor, overseeing manufacturing operations, documentation, and staff performance to meet production targets. Key duties include coordinating materials, reviewing batch records, and supporting audits while maintaining high quality standards. The role requires at least five years of manufacturing experience and strong leadership abilities. Candidates should hold a BA/BSc or diploma in a relevant field.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering or related discipline
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations
- • Strong knowledge of cGMP and quality assurance procedures
- • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Enforce cGMP, SOPs, safety, and quality standards throughout production
- • Supervise material receipt, verification, and packaging activities
- • Review production reports and batch manufacturing records for accuracy
- • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve daily production targets
- • Manage machine breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and corrective actions
- • Update and maintain SOPs, ensuring they reflect current practices
- • Lead staff training, performance monitoring, and disciplinary actions
- • Support internal and external audits, and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance
- • Document deviations, change controls, and corrective actions as required
