Job Description
The Program Manager provides strategic leadership for Lutheran World Federation’s portfolio of programmes across Kenya and Somalia. Reporting to the Country Representative, the manager oversees project design, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role involves managing staff, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • University degree in International Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
- • Significant experience in programme management within the humanitarian sector.
- • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- • Ability to work in cross‑cultural environments and manage multi‑country portfolios.

- • Lead the development and implementation of programme strategies across Kenya and Somalia.
- • Supervise programme staff and ensure effective performance management.
- • Monitor programme outcomes, budgets, and compliance with donor requirements.
- • Coordinate with partners, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
- • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and donors.
- • Identify opportunities for programme expansion and resource mobilisation.
