Job Description
The Program Manager I oversees the design, implementation and monitoring of emergency response and recovery programmes across the assigned region, ensuring high‑quality, timely humanitarian assistance. The role works closely with partners, technical teams and donors to develop risk maps, response plans and MEAL frameworks. It also contributes to capacity building and promotes adherence to CRS standards and donor requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree (MBA, MSc or MA) in a relevant field such as International Development, Humanitarian Affairs or Business Administration
- • At least one year of experience in emergency programming or disaster response
- • Strong analytical, planning and coordination skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and partners

Responsibilities
- • Provide technical oversight of emergency response and recovery programmes
- • Develop and maintain hazard and risk mapping and response plans
- • Ensure MEAL readiness and implement monitoring and evaluation processes
- • Coordinate with programme offices, partners and technical departments (WASH, Food Security, Cash, Shelter)
- • Support donor communication, reporting and compliance with programme standards
- • Facilitate capacity‑building activities and knowledge sharing among partners
- • Lead rapid‑response efforts and promote efficient humanitarian operations
