Job Description
The Program Officer will support education and implementation research for cardiometabolic disease within CHAK’s medical training colleges and lead advocacy for innovative teaching methods. The role involves designing research projects, disseminating findings, and promoting digital and blended learning. Collaboration with faculty, students and leadership is essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND (minimum) – MBA/MSc/MA preferred
- • Minimum 3 years experience in education, implementation research or advocacy
- • Strong knowledge of research methodologies and gender‑responsive approaches
- • Ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences
- • Proven track record of influencing institutional policy

Responsibilities
- • Design and conduct CMD‑focused educational and implementation research projects
- • Support faculty and student engagement in research, ensuring inclusivity and gender responsiveness
- • Document and disseminate research findings to inform teaching policies and national CMD strategies
- • Lead advocacy initiatives to adopt digital, blended and simulation‑based teaching methods
- • Promote increased institutional investment in CMD education and research
- • Engage college leadership, faculty and students to build support for curriculum reforms and innovative approaches
