Job Description

The Program Officer, Partnerships oversees CARE’s strategic partnership portfolio, ensuring pipelines progress smoothly and agreements are executed effectively. The role coordinates due‑diligence processes, maintains partnership knowledge systems, and manages tracking tools that support the Program Strategy & Partnerships division. It also produces high‑quality briefing materials and proposals while balancing multiple project demands. Strong relationship‑building and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher (MBA/MSc/MA) in a relevant field.
  • • 5–7 years of experience in partnership coordination, program management, or related external engagement.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • • Strong written communication skills for producing high‑quality materials.
  • • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Required Skills

Responsibilities

  • • Manage CARE’s strategic partnership pipeline and coordinate due‑diligence and agreement processes.
  • • Maintain and update partnership knowledge systems and tracking tools such as the Bid Pipeline and IPO/PSI trackers.
  • • Ensure active partnerships meet schedule and quality standards.
  • • Produce briefing documents, one‑pagers, and proposals for external audiences.
  • • Support workflow processes across the Program Strategy & Partnerships function.
  • • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks across projects with minimal supervision.
