Job Description
The Programme Analyst will support Women’s Economic Empowerment initiatives by developing programme strategies, preparing proposals, and coordinating implementation across the ESA region. The role includes technical support for project management, budgeting, and partner capacity building, as well as contributing to advocacy and knowledge‑sharing activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or higher degree (BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA) in a relevant field
- • Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in development or programme management
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Contribute technically to the development of women’s economic empowerment programme strategies
- • Provide substantive input to design and formulate project proposals and initiatives
- • Coordinate the design and preparation of AfDB and other IFI proposals and concept notes
- • Support implementation of WEE projects throughout the ESA region
- • Offer technical support for programme implementation, management, and monitoring
- • Lead the coordination of calls for proposals and organise technical review committees
- • Review, coordinate and monitor partner financial and narrative reports
- • Train partners on Results Based Management and monitor implementation
- • Provide inputs to advocacy, knowledge building and communication efforts
