Job Description
The Programme Management Officer will coordinate the implementation and scaling of the Global Ecosystem‑based Adaptation Fund, working closely with partners and stakeholders. The role involves drafting reports, organizing technical meetings, and providing data‑driven insights to support adaptation programmes. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) and have at least five years of experience in project or programme management. Strong analytical and reporting skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher (MBA/MSc/MA) in a relevant field
- • Minimum five years of experience in project or programme management
- • Proven ability to work with partners and coordinate multi‑stakeholder initiatives
- • Strong analytical, reporting and data‑visualisation skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Manage strategic implementation, scale‑up and evaluation of the Global Ecosystem‑based Adaptation Fund
- • Monitor and analyse fund performance, draft reports and prepare documentation for fund management meetings
- • Provide task‑management support for adaptation‑related projects and programmes
- • Conduct research, gather inputs and draft documents to support policy and normative work on adaptation
- • Organise technical meetings, including agendas, speaking notes, background notes and participant lists
- • Collect, analyse and visualise data to identify trends and support data‑driven planning and decision‑making
