Job Description
The Project Manager will lead a 12‑month AI and tech initiative across Kenya, Nigeria and Zambia, empowering content creators to counter disinformation and supporting additional AI projects. The role manages four workstreams, oversees partners, coordinates workshops and ensures cost‑effective logistics while monitoring adoption outcomes. Strong project management, stakeholder coordination and adaptability are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND degree or equivalent
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in AI, technology or development programmes
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑country initiatives and remote teams
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- • Familiarity with AI tools and digital content ecosystems is an advantage
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a complex international programme across multiple countries
- • Manage four integrated workstreams: AI tool deployment, content creator resilience, legal safeguards and AI infrastructure development
- • Oversee delivery partners and coordinate workshop delivery in at least three countries
- • Ensure cost‑efficient logistics, monitor adoption outcomes and document learnings
- • Track programme milestones, budgets and performance indicators
- • Manage remote and dispersed partnerships responsibly
- • Adapt to changing priorities and time pressures while maintaining quality
- • Produce regular reports for stakeholders and funders
