Job Description

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of hospital implementation projects within a health‑tech environment. Key duties include managing full project lifecycles, coordinating on‑site activities, and overseeing budgets and documentation. The role requires strong stakeholder management, cross‑functional team coordination, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and at least three years of experience in project management or biomedical engineering.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
  • • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management, biomedical engineering or healthcare operations.
  • • Proven track record of managing full project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, budgeting and closure.
  • • Experience working in healthcare, MedTech or other technically complex environments.
  • • Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders, with willingness to undertake regular field assignments.
  • • Proficiency in project documentation, budgeting, reporting, risk tracking and use of digital project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • • Own projects from initiation through closure, defining objectives, deliverables, timelines and responsibilities.
  • • Manage each client hospital as an individual project, coordinating trial, onboarding and implementation activities.
  • • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones and resource requirements.
  • • Monitor progress, identify risks, gaps and dependencies, and implement corrective actions.
  • • Ensure accurate completion of project documentation, deliverables and closure requirements.
  • • Maintain regular on‑site presence at client hospitals during critical project stages.
  • • Coordinate with hospital stakeholders to understand requirements and address implementation challenges.
  • • Build effective relationships with hospital management, biomedical engineers, doctors, nurses and procurement teams.
  • • Capture and address client concerns, operational gaps and emerging requirements.
  • • Represent the company professionally on‑site and ensure consistent client attention.
  • • Conduct regular check‑ins with engineers and team members to monitor workload and support needs.
  • • Coordinate team priorities, schedules and field activities for optimal resource utilization.
  • • Influence and align cross‑functional team members without direct authority.
  • • Provide observations for performance reviews based on project delivery and collaboration.
  • • Develop, monitor and maintain project budgets aligned with approved requirements.
  • • Track project costs, resource utilisation and escalate variances as needed.
  • • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, budgets, risk registers and reports.
  • • Keep project information up‑to‑date to provide clear visibility of status.
  • • Collaborate with the Automation Engineer to support continuous improvement of project processes.
