Job Description

The Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor will lead construction and fit‑out projects from inception through handover, ensuring they meet scope, budget, quality and schedule targets. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring site progress, and managing cost control documents such as BOQs and payment certificates. The role also involves risk identification, procurement support, and preparation of comprehensive project reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
  • • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or quantity surveying.
  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other planning tools.
  • • Strong analytical, cost‑control and reporting skills.
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • • Ability to identify risks and implement corrective measures.

Responsibilities

  • • Plan, coordinate and deliver construction, interior fit‑out, tensile membrane and pergola projects from start to handover.
  • • Develop, update and monitor project schedules using Microsoft Project or approved tools.
  • • Coordinate clients, consultants, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, safety and progress.
  • • Prepare project execution plans, weekly work programs, progress reports, meeting minutes and other documentation.
  • • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
  • • Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, quality standards and agreed timelines.
  • • Manage project handover, snagging, defect rectification and close‑out documentation.
  • • Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, tender documents and quantity take‑offs.
  • • Review quotations, prepare comparison reports, interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
  • • Monitor variations, claims, subcontractor payments and overall project costs.
  • • Support procurement by preparing material schedules and reviewing purchase requests.
  • • Assist management in preparing commercial quotations and pricing.
  • • Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned by management.
