Job Description
The Project Officer will coordinate the implementation and monitoring of maternal and child health activities in urban informal settlements. They will strengthen Care Groups, facilitate training, and manage data collection and reporting. Close collaboration with community health volunteers, local health facilities and county authorities is required. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND degree or Diploma
- • Minimum 3 years experience in project or program management, preferably in health or community development
- • Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and meet deadlines
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili

- • Coordinate implementation of MCH and community‑health activities according to work plans and donor requirements
- • Strengthen and monitor Care Groups and their volunteers
- • Support community mobilization and participation in program activities
- • Facilitate training, mentorship and supervision of CHPs, CHAs and volunteers
- • Manage data collection, reporting and field monitoring
- • Engage with health facilities, county teams and community leaders to ensure effective service delivery
