Job Description
The Psychological Counsellor I provides assessment and therapeutic services to clients of the Kenya Institute of Special Education. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, delivering individual counselling, and developing psychological explanations for client issues. The counsellor also manages counselling contracts and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field
- • Registration with the relevant professional counselling board
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- • Ability to work with individuals with special education needs
