Job Description
The internship supports Kenya’s Digital Literacy Programme by developing e‑learning content, training primary‑school teachers, and assisting with the implementation of digital learning initiatives. Interns will conduct research, innovate teaching tools, and provide first‑line ICT support in sub‑county education offices. The position offers a stipend and a certificate upon successful completion.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Graduated no earlier than 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education (ICT specialization) or a Bachelor’s degree in ICT, or a Diploma in ICT or ICT Integration in Education
- • Knowledge of networking, applications development, information security, and project management
- • Ability to integrate ICT with education for e‑learning and content creation
- • Strong research and innovation skills to support the Digital Literacy Programme
- • Willingness to be deployed full‑time to any sub‑county education office
- • No prior participation in a similar programme
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Support e‑learning and content development aligned with curriculum schemes of work
- • Provide classroom support and training for primary‑school teachers on digital literacy devices
- • Assist in implementing the Digital Learning Programme across schools
