Job Description
The QC Officer will ensure that raw materials, in‑process products and finished tissue items meet strict quality specifications. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, sampling, testing, documenting results and supporting corrective actions. The role requires a diploma or degree in a scientific field and two to four years of quality‑control experience in tissue manufacturing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology or related field
- • Two to four years experience in quality control, preferably in tissue or toilet‑paper manufacturing
- • Strong knowledge of QC procedures, sampling, testing and documentation
- • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- • Ability to work effectively in a production environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Conduct quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in‑process production, and finished tissue products
- • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and procedures
- • Perform routine sampling, testing and documentation of QC results
- • Identify defects, investigate deviations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- • Maintain accurate quality records, reports and test results
- • Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene and safety requirements
- • Collaborate with production and other departments to resolve quality issues and reduce waste
- • Support internal audits and continuous‑improvement initiatives
