Job Description

The Plant Engineer will lead engineering and maintenance functions to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective manufacturing operations. They will develop preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs, monitor equipment reliability and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Coordination of engineering resources and root‑cause analysis of breakdowns are key responsibilities. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, SAP and lean methodologies is essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • BA/BSc/HND or professional certificate in engineering or a related field.
  • • 7–10 years of experience in engineering, maintenance or plant management, preferably in beverage manufacturing.
  • • Proven experience with preventive, predictive and reliability‑centered maintenance.
  • • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
  • • Experience with SAP maintenance modules and utilities management.
  • • Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE, MTBF, MTTR and RCA methodologies.
  • • Demonstrated analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
  • • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and safety mindset.

  • • Establish machine‑specific maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
  • • Ensure availability and reliability of production equipment to support manufacturing operations.
  • • Monitor equipment performance and launch initiatives to improve plant reliability.
  • • Ensure maintenance activities comply with engineering standards and procedures.
  • • Coordinate engineering resources to minimize production downtime.
  • • Monitor and analyze machine breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • • Lead root‑cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • • Oversee utilities management and continuous improvement initiatives.
