Job Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst (METAL) will ensure the reliability and accuracy of data toolkits used by the International Rescue Committee, focusing on testing data transformation, visualization, and integration components. The role works closely with developers and product managers to create test scenarios, perform regression testing, and resolve data quality issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of experience testing CommCare, ODK‑based platforms, or similar mobile data collection tools
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure data services
- • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy
- • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to evolving project needs
- • Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for data transformation and visualization workflows
- • Perform regression testing on CommCare, Power BI dashboards, and Azure‑based SQL data warehouses
- • Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to achieve timely resolution
- • Create complex use‑case scenarios to validate functional and non‑functional requirements
- • Collaborate with business analysts to clarify specifications and close requirement gaps
- • Ensure testing activities meet project timelines without compromising quality standards
- • Provide clear test reports and recommendations for continuous improvement
