Job Description
The Quality Assurance Team Lead (Registered Nurse) will oversee nursing staff, ensure clinical documentation accuracy, and drive quality improvement initiatives. The role includes auditing records, mentoring nurses, and implementing QA procedures to maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Registered Nurse with at least seven years of professional nursing experience
- • Proven clinical leadership and team management abilities
- • Strong knowledge of nursing documentation standards and quality assurance processes
- • Ability to conduct audits, analyze data and implement improvement measures
- • Excellent communication, mentorship and interpersonal skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead, supervise and coordinate the nursing team to ensure effective service delivery
- • Review and audit nursing notes, clinical records, physician orders, medication profiles and patient care plans for accuracy
- • Ensure timely completion and submission of nursing documentation
- • Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, medication procedures and organizational policies
- • Identify documentation gaps and quality deficiencies, implementing corrective actions
- • Facilitate communication among nurses, physicians, caregivers and other healthcare professionals
- • Provide mentorship, training and performance feedback to nursing staff
- • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, clinical audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- • Track quality indicators, documentation compliance and staff performance against established standards
