Job Description
The R&D and NPD Manager will lead product research, development and innovation for dairy, culinary sauces and confectionery categories, overseeing the entire new product development process from concept to commercial launch while ensuring compliance with Kenyan food safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- • Develop new product concepts and formulations aligned with marketing and business growth priorities
- • Lead bench‑top, pilot and factory‑scale trials through to commercial launch
- • Manage the NPD project pipeline and timelines from concept to launch
- • Source and evaluate new ingredients, flavours and functional additives
- • Review existing product portfolio and identify reformulation opportunities
- • Support cost‑reduction initiatives through ingredient optimisation
- • Investigate and resolve product quality issues
- • Ensure products meet KEBS and FSSC 22000 food safety and quality standards
