Job Description
The Regional Auditor will conduct financial audits across assigned regions for the Kenya Tea Development Agency, assessing internal controls and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role includes preparing audit reports and advising management on risk mitigation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred
- • At least 5 years experience in external or internal audit, preferably in the agricultural sector
- • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and report‑writing abilities
- • High level of integrity and independence

- • Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements
- • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management
- • Ensure compliance with Kenyan financial regulations and agency policies
- • Collaborate with the central audit team to coordinate audit activities
- • Provide guidance on risk management and control enhancements
