Job Description
The Regional Conservation Education Officer leads the design and delivery of conservation education programs, develops curriculum and training materials, and coordinates field outreach across regional centres. The role manages project budgets, monitors performance through M&E frameworks, and builds partnerships with donors and NGOs to secure funding. Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting ensure program impact is documented and communicated.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Conservation, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources Management or a related field
- • Minimum six years of relevant experience in conservation and program management
- • Proven track record in donor‑funded programmes, fundraising and competitive grant proposals
- • Strong skills in project planning, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement
- • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to regional centres
