Job Description
The Regional People & Culture Director will lead HR strategy across multiple West African countries, aligning people initiatives with organizational goals. Responsibilities include developing talent acquisition, total rewards and leadership development programs while ensuring compliance with local labour laws. The director will advise senior leaders, drive efficiency in HR processes and manage risk and quality assurance across the region. Strong stakeholder engagement and change‑management skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND (equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree)
- • 8–10 years progressive HR experience, preferably in multi‑country settings

Responsibilities
- • Provide strategic leadership to the People & Culture function across the region
- • Develop and implement regional HR strategy, talent acquisition, total rewards and leadership development plans
- • Advise regional directors, finance leaders and boards on HR matters and promote an agile culture
- • Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and internal policies
- • Drive effectiveness and efficiency of HR processes, including talent management and performance systems
- • Lead quality‑assurance and risk‑management initiatives for HR services
- • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best‑practice communities among regional MFIs
