Job Description
The Regional Thematic Specialist will direct IOM’s humanitarian response and recovery initiatives, shaping strategic direction and advocating for vulnerable populations. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, forging partnerships, and delivering technical guidance across the region. Strong leadership and expertise in emergency management are critical to success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Affairs, International Relations, or a related discipline
- • Minimum five years of experience in humanitarian response and recovery
- • Proven leadership and advocacy experience in an international setting
- • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex projects
