Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high‑quality clinical care in the theatre environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after procedures. The role includes delivering compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families. The nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary staff to maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Registered Nurse qualification with current license
- • Minimum of 2 years experience in theatre or surgical nursing
- • Strong communication and teamwork skills
- • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative nursing care to surgical patients
- • Assist the surgical team with instrument preparation and intra‑operative support
- • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures
- • Deliver emotional and psychological support to patients and families
- • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- • Participate in theatre safety briefings and emergency protocols
