Job Description
The Relationship Officer will grow the micro‑finance client portfolio by acquiring new borrowers, developing business partnerships and managing existing accounts. Responsibilities include presenting loan products, monitoring repayments and assessing credit risk in line with company policies. The role requires strong sales acumen and a customer‑focused approach.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communication or related field
- • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in micro‑finance or financial services
- • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships
- • Good understanding of credit risk and loan repayment processes
- • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and ethical conduct

- • Identify, prospect and convert new customers to meet monthly sales targets
- • Develop strategic partnerships and business‑to‑business relationships
- • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- • Present loan products and maintain an active sales pipeline
- • Follow up on loan repayments and monitor portfolio performance
- • Assess customer suitability according to credit policies
- • Gather market feedback and coordinate with internal teams to improve service and sales
